  I have not tried the flex alc, I use ddutil3 and it works well for my needs.

  I have seen my maestro act similar with a low battery, of course this was with it not on AC power.

  Frstack explains how to create a foot or hand switch to use with a feature in the app , i use it when i remote with my notebook.
